Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This vacuum cleaner is an ideal choice for those living in apartments since it has a smaller docking system and comes with its own trash bin. Its application lets you set various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping feature is also impressive.
Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it is able to mops extremely well and removes pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.
iRobot Roomba Combo
The iRobot Combo is a robot that can vacuum and mop. The iRobotCombo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with a mobile app that is more user-friendly but it's an excellent alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most advanced in the world, lacking structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it did a good job of preventing collisions with furniture and other clutter.
The Combo has the same smarts as the j7 Plus, including new acoustic sensors onboard to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation, however it lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vac-only model, and doesn't come with self-empty docks.
The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its elegant design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the market. The clean matte black plastic looks better than most competitors' glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's little features--like a leather tab that can open the bin onboard and a shelf inside the dock to hold extra bags--are classier than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to create Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively new player in the robot mop and vacuum industry, has already made its mark with innovative cleaning technology. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction power, while the mopping systems of the brand feature vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. Furthermore, a range of mapping and scheduling options allow you to fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your particular home.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance feature allows the robot to see objects that are lower than its own height. This is particularly beneficial for the most popular Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of its class in terms of navigation, because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been notorious for hitting furniture and slam into pet faeces and faeces with no awareness, but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using Reactive AI, which uses twin cameras to perceive the presence of objects in a room.
Roborock robots are equipped with a variety of features that make it easier to manage maintenance. They include docks that are automatically empty and mop-washing stations that have many functions. These features eliminate the need to empty the dust bins or wash mops by hand, allowing to enjoy a hands-free ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its straightforward layout and its lag-free communication with the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its broad variety of cleaning features integrated and advanced mopping capabilities is among the top robot vacuums and mops for dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five different technologies to plan and execute a route that is the most efficient. It can also recognize various flooring materials and obstacles with precision. It can even lift itself 7mm to glide on carpets. Smart spray system makes the right amount of water for stain removal, without leaving water marks.
The Legee is the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly against the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It comes with more features, including a flexible D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more effectively than a round model. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass) four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots have just one pair). The robot also has Legee SLAM, which helps to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 Robots.
The Legee is different from other robots because it has a trash compactor built-in and operates on the more quiet 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The LuLu mop wash station is included and can wash, refill and dries your mop 'cloth. This means you can use it up to six times longer than with other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency with which bins are emptied.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is a household name for its pressure washers and gardening tools has been experimenting with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most technologically advanced model from the company. Powered by LiDAR, it creates maps of your home that can be programmed to clean or mop. It also differentiates between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is top-quality it can navigate around furniture and rugs with ease and even lowering itself up steps. The machine can be customised by adjusting a range of settings, including cleaning schedules and which rooms it is required to be cleaning. It also has a handy emergency button that will force the robot to return to its base when it is running out of power and can be programmed to automatically shut itself off if the weather is forecast to be stormy.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite large at almost 4kg, it's not too difficult to maneuver around furniture. Those with small children will appreciate the safety features, such as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs. Once it is charged it takes just several hours to fully charge, and the two buttons on the top will blink in green to let you that it is now ready to use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a robot that balances advanced technology with affordable. It's a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a cheaper model, but it has features not offered in other models. Best robot vacuum cleaner UK utilizes sensors to adjust its settings for different surfaces and floors, as well as detect areas that are more prone to dirt and ensure they get enough attention. It can also move at an accelerated pace to avoid damage to furniture and walls.
The device can map your home's interior and display it through the app. You can also mark areas and objects that you would like the vacuum to stay clear from. The vacuum will slow down when it detects an obstruction and avoid hitting it. It also comes with a smart dustbin that alerts you when it's full, so you can empty it in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those who want to delegate their daily cleaning tasks. It doubles as a robot vacuum and mop which allows you to keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It features a clever design which increases the cleaning of corners by as much as 60 percent. It has suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled via the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 a sleek, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does an outstanding job at keeping floors clean and tidy. It's not able to lift its mop to clean carpets or rug as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good at cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a high-quality app that runs on iOS and Android.
It's smaller than many of the competitors and its main brush is shorter than most but it still did a great job of making short work of our test room effortlessly. The revolving brush on the side for edges is a nice feature and, despite the fact that it didn't lift dirt from our rugs and carpets like other competitors but it did a decent job overall.
The device can be programmed to have individual cleaning parameters for each room. It then creates detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. It's easy to control using the app and a variety of voice output options can keep you informed about the condition of your home robot. Regular updates to the software enhance and extend its performance. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
